Case study
Rebuilding a facial studio’s search foundation.
How we rebuilt the local and AI-search presence of Lumina Skin Sanctuary — the Fort Myers facial studio our founder owns — and put real measurement in place.
The challenge
Lumina Skin Sanctuary is a licensed-esthetician facial and waxing studio in Fort Myers, FL. Like most new studios, it was nearly invisible in local search: it didn’t appear in the Google map pack for its core terms, and its early website content had been auto-generated — carrying service claims for treatments the studio doesn’t offer and references to the wrong locations. That’s a real risk: it erodes trust, and it can get a Google Business Profile suspended.
What we did
Cleaned up the claims
Rewrote the site to reflect only real, offered services — removing inaccurate treatment claims and correcting location references across the content.
Rebuilt for GEO + SEO
Restructured pages and posts to answer real client questions directly, with proper titles, schema, and internal links so both Google and AI engines can read them.
Installed measurement
Set up geo-grid rank tracking and AI-citation testing so visibility is measured every week, not guessed at.
Turned on the review engine
Built a system to steadily request and respond to Google reviews — the biggest single lever for local ranking.
The honest baseline
We believe in showing the real starting line. A geo-grid scan for the studio’s top term put it in the local top three at none of the mapped points across a five-mile radius — the position almost every young studio starts from. With the foundation rebuilt and weekly tracking now running, every improvement is measured against that baseline instead of a vanity number.
We don’t publish inflated “10x” results. When a studio grows, we’ll show the geo-grid before and after — the same map, honestly compared.
